Designer / developer for international team

Overall Job Purpose

We are looking for a suitable candidate to perform role of Designer / Developer within the Competence And Delivery Center Prague (CDCP). The CDCP is an international competence centre located in Prague and delivering billing mediation services to various countries belonging to the DTAG group. Team also maintains certain other enterprise components such as big data cluster or policy controller.

This role is primarily responsible for identification & clarification of business requirements having impact on the billing and DWH platforms and for detailing these requirements into Specifications as well as gathering and describing project purpose / background / business goals / consequences. As the CDCP applies the agile SCRUM methodology it brings variety into the daily work. This means that successful candidate may be requested to act as a Developer or Tester for given task or certain period of time.

Education and Work Experience

Technical University degree (IT, TELCO etc.)
Experience with system analysis and development, testing
Experience from telco, billing, mediation or BI (databases, reporting) area is a plus
Fresh graduates are also welcomed

Knowledge (Language, IT, etc.)

testing approaches
other IT literacy like: database, SQL, networks, protocols, HW architecture, Linux, Telco in general
agile approaches, ideally Scrum
Enterprise Architect & UML awareness

written & spoken Czech (native), English (advanced), German is a plus – as our customers are Czech or English or German speaking people, the candidate must be able to discuss with them the requirements and solution details in Czech, English, German
