Source Code Analysis Security for students (part time)

Get to know the Cyber Defense Center and help us make application development more secure.

Are you interested in programming languages and Application Security? International Cybersecurity centre of Deutsche Telekom in Prague is expanding its team and looking for new colleagues to analyse application source code in order to identify potential security-related weaknesses and help with application security and secure development in overall.
You will start as a part-time trainee and will work together with our senior specialists to extend your skills over time with the option to move to a permanent full time position.


  • Source code analysis by using specialized tools and performing manual reviews according to DTAG and industry standards
  • Setting up automated review processes for DTAG development projects
  • End to end coordination of source code review process (from first code exchange to retests)
  • Consulting issues and application security with customers via conference calls
  • Creating reports for developers and project managers in varying degree of technical detail
  • Cooperating with developers on weakness mitigation and secure development awareness
  • Develop Secure Development trainings and Secure Development Lifecycle processes
  • Expanding own knowledge and contributing to unit expansion
  • Contributing to friendly and enthusiastic workplace

Job Requirements

  • Senior year university student or corresponding field practice
  • Programming and scripting experience in multiple languages from the following: C/C++, Java, .NET, Swift, Javascript, Bash, Python, SQL
  • Experience with web and/or mobile application development
  • Understanding the semantic model behind programming languages, to be able to understand exotic or uncommon programming languages without prior experience
  • Broader scope of general IT knowledge and understanding of security-first principles
  • Fluent in English (German appreciated, Czech not required)
  • Will to expand your knowledge and skills over years
